Don't Forget Your Good Days

Don't forget your good days.

Yes, I am feeling at the top of the world right now which makes writing this a little easier at the moment. Today, one of my dreams came true. Thanks to the best fiancé in the world, I am going to see one of my all-time-favorite bands, Cimorelli, in concert AND be apart of the Meet & Greet with them. I am being a total "fan girl" right now, which is kind of hilarious because I've made fun of fan girls before (my sincerest apologies). This is so special to me because this band has helped me through some of the hardest times of my life. The lyrics to their songs have been exactly what I was feeling, or what I needed to hear in that moment. The message they promote aligns with my values and beliefs. I also love that they so boldly share their beliefs with the world. It is awe-inspiring and encouraging. In this moment, I feel so happy! I know the day of the concert will be amazing--one of my best days.

With all that said, I also know everyday won't be a good day. That is okay--honestly, we wouldn't appreciate them as much if they were. We have to face tragedy, heartbreak, sadness, and pain to know all the complete opposites. That's hard to remember, especially when you spend multiple days feeling sad. Trust me, I have been there. For the past month, I've been floating on the edge, just trying to keep my head above the water. I get so lost and down sometimes that I don't know which way is up. It's in those moments when we must remember the good days. We must remember that good days exists and we will see them again. It is often in those moments when everything feels as if it is falling apart that something magical comes along.

To the person who is trapped in the bad days, don't give up. Your good day is coming, and it will be amazing! You are not alone, and you deserve nothing but happiness and love.
